Married People; how often do you make love with your partners?

And may I ask too- is it normal if me and my hubby only does it once every two months? Some people find it odd. I mean, once a month is ok for me too. But sometimes it could go up to 3 months. And he says once every week is too much. (We've just been married for 3 years by the way) Sometimes I feel so unwanted. What is your opinion on this?

It can be normal right? Are their couples out there like this too? I would like to know, so I would feel so alone.

just for the record: I do ask him for it. Hes says i'm "too" horny. Iv'e been in thongs and laces- he just slept. oh well. Thanks y'all who had answered! ^_^

Was he like this when you first got married? Has his sex drive dropped or stayed the same? Some men don't have a very active libido. It's usually hormonal.

If it isn't satisfying to you, try to suggest seeing a medical doctor.

A person's sex drive is an individual thing. But for the record, your husband's does seem rather low for a newlywed guy. I had a friend who's husband was the same. He got help--against his wishes--but it worked.

You can't compare yourself with other couples, really, but the average is about 3 times a week. We do it more often because my husband is a horn dog. As he ages, it is lessening though. We've been married for 20 years.

We have been married for 11 years and have been together for 20.
We make love once every 2 or 3 months, when I feel I need it. a lot.
He doesn't care much about the "sport", but this is his nature; he's been like that since we first met and he did want me a lot; then it was once a week but when problems started between us, it became once every 6 or 8 months!... So, don't worry, you can say it is normal, especially if the couple is working and have children that need to be taken
On the other hand, if you feel that you need it more frequently, why don't you try to start it up? It's not bad; that's why you got married in the first place!...

Been married 36 years. Sex go's in spells. On average once a week. Sometimes we may go 1 to 3 months with no sex and other times we might have sex 3 or 4 times a week.

It's normal. We get so busy with every day things. There are so many things to take care of. Sometimes we just get tired. After awhile, it's just not the top priority.
I don't see how you can ever have "too much" sex though. Hubby and I go through phases. Sometimes we can't get enough and other times we are so tired, we become 2pumpchumps.
We all feel unwanted sometimes. Normal too. If you ask him, he'll say he feels the same. Good luck.

Different age also a factor how many time will be enough .
When we just got married ,we can do it about 4-5 times a week,but times goes by now we only do 1 or 2 times a week.

My husband and I have been married for 19 years and we make love every day. I couldn't accept once every 3 months. I know other couples who are like you and they just endure. Figure out what you want and make it happen. You're doing all the right stuff, he's the problem.

I'm in your situation and have come to the realization that my husband is not interested in me. We have sex once every 3-4 months and he puts no real effort into it.
