Sometimes I listen to confidence tapes...other times outside noises...and listen to them until they fade away, and I drift to sleep.

I used to love the sound of train whistles, or fog horns...

What usually puts you to sleep...is it a kitty's purr?

no, what really puts me to sleep is the sound of rain. since i live in a place with lots of trees it sounds nice. i think of the rain as giving life to everything, and washing away the bad things. it just really calms me down. if theres no rain i still sleep, im a heavy sleeper. i once slept through an earthquake, isn't that funny. it was small i think, but all my stuff on my desk fell down. i thought it was a rat that pushed my cactus down. then my parents told me there was an earth quake. i can't believe i missed it. i always miss stuff. like the time that thing hit the astroid, i was stuck cleaning the house on my own while my brother who was supposed to help me was at my cousins house watching it. anyways why am i getting in to this, i always end up talking about something else. well, um, good luck with you thing that i forgot about and am to lazy to read all this back and spell check. toodles.

I take a Tylenol PM, crank up the AC and cover up under my blankets. I then daydream (i.e. go to my happy place). and then fall asleep.

I do keep a fan on all night, because I find circulating the air in my room helps me fall asleep. That and the fans motor, tends to drown out most of the other annoying noises that my neighbors make throughout the night and morning. Don't ever live in an apartment complex, if you can avoid it. It's bad for your sleep. Trust me.

I usually read a chapter in a book. If I still can't sleep I get out an old book from college (legal environment) and read through some of the cases. It is a natural sedative!

Well, I do a lot of things, let the dog out, make sure the doors are locked, use the bathroom, undress, turn down the covers, turn off the light, set the alarm clock if I have to wake up early.

For the past three years its been feeling my husbands arms around me or at least his warm body beside me. As I'm drifting off I always try to think of dreams and goals that I have so I can dream about them. But if one of my cats is around, their purr will definitely put me to sleep. =)

Yeah, that's what I do too! I positioned on my iPod on my mini audio equipment and that i start up writing some poems in a e book I truly have. Then I examine a number of my 12 months previous poems and stuff. turn off the lighting fixtures fixtures and nod off with the music taking area in!

Hi! I always pray for my best "soul friend" (35557) who lives with his family in the Greater London area of the U.K.....who is getting ready to start his day as I end mine. I pray these prayers: The Tube Of Light, prayer to St. Michael the Archangel, the Violet Flame and I put 9 more tubes of different colored light around him.Pink so he draws love to him, copper for grounding, silver for receptive energies, emerald and gold for his heart chakra, blue for healing, the violet like I mentioned above and 3 layers of white light for angelic guidance and protection. I also pray for my other friends and anyone else that needs love and healing. I usually fall asleep praying.

I sleep on my side and find it very hard to go to sleep unless my husband is behind me with his arm around me and I listen to him breathing. That makes it very difficult when one of use has to be away for one reason or another.

Soak in a nice, hot bath, put my pajamas on and snuggle under the covers.
