Frankly, I like Gore. I think he had America's interests at heart and in mind. The media (empowered by the opposing party) ruined Gore on his 'boring' personality. What kind of sense does that make for any intelligent voter? I'd much rather have a knowledgeable, boring president who attended to busy instead of one who takes numerous vacations and blames all his mistakes on his staff. If one listened to the debates, it was obvious Gore knew more about our government, its economy and foreign policy than Bush ever could or would.

I worry that we have fallen to such low standards, that our next president may be a cartoon or imaginary character. I would rather see Gore run in 2008 over other possibilities; yet, he really did win in 2000 anyway and Kerry really did win in 2004. Watch out for those electronic voting machines or this administration will be in forever. There's a lot more Bushes out there.

Are you nuts? Gore, in the 1980s, at the height of The Cold War, with 100s of nuclear warheads pointing at our country and at Europe - in this horrible and dangerous time, Al Gore said "the biggest threat to Western Civilization is ... THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE!"

Yup, he thought the gasoline engine was more dangerous than a nuclear bomb!

Al Gore is a psychotic nut with delusions of grandeur. He should be locked into a small padded room and told everyday "you invented the internet, you invented the internet, you invented the internet."

I would like to see Al Gore become President.
I fear though, that we need an iron-clad Teflon-coated political charmer to resist the attack machine that Carl Rove puts into play. And we do not have one ready, that I know of.

I didn't want ta see it the last time around. Al Gore will never be president and the worst thing the Democrats could do would be to hitch their wagon to that dead donkey
