Union protection is slowly fading. Pensions and guaranteed retirement plans are fading away. Healthcare security is fading when you get old after spending your whole life working/participating to better this country.

Why can't we pay for these things anymore? Our government says they can't afford entitlements any longer? Why can we afford to liberate another country while losing things that keep our country great.... taking care of ppl who have spent their lives workning to better this country?

no i don't love capitalism, and capitalism doesn't love pensions.
pensions are very anti-capitalism, hence why they are going away.
a business has no reason to take care of people, and governments are becoming more like businesses everyday and less about taking care of its people. capitalism basically says, if you aren't a millionaire you must be lazy and stupid and grinds on counting and pinching each and every penny often at the expense of those who have helped it make its pennies. people become little more than a replaceable piston or something to be thrown away like a dixie cup.

The importance of unions have been phasing out for about 20-25 years. Once upon a time, they did a service to the employees. Then their demands got unrealistic. Look at Ford Motor company - what they have to pay for pensions and health care is driving them to bankruptcy. Who says an employer must pay for health premiums of a retired employee.? Why shouldn't the employee share or be responsible for that. An employee was paid wages for performing a job. End of story. We need to be responsible for our own lives and not place that burden on someone else. Get a savings account and prepare yourself for the future.

if you think your government really spends money to liberate other countries without benefitting from it you are simply naive .

actually making pretexts to invade other countries and manipulate their economies , and robbing aging helpless people of comfort and livlyhod are two aspects of the same problem,
which is the rich basically doing all they can to get richer.

the (citixens) of your (democracy) are seen by them as (cattle), entitled to protection and accomodation only for as long as they can fill the rich peoples pockets , after that they just expire and every excuse should be sought to put them down.

i hope you find ways so that more people can enjoy the benefits of your democracy.

That's right, you will live to be 100 and work until you die. No pension, no health care in a country occupied by foreigners.
