Tractor attachment: Brush Hog vs. Flail Mower?

Question

For 5+ acres of land with nothing but grass and weeds (no brush), which is better, a brush hog or flail mower? I hear the flail mower does a better job of mulching and gives a cleaner cut.

Any information will be appreciated.

Keeping hay is not a factor because we will probably just let the cut grass desintegrate naturally.

I'd go with a brush hog, they are very durable.
