Women.

Look at Thatcher. Horrible woman, horrible policies, everyone hated her and we largely still do, but when she was PM, everyone knew who was in charge and Britain was taken seriously and we knew who was in charge. Sure, she was a force of pure evil, but what she did, she did well.

Compare that to the man we've got now. A man who so closely resembles a spitting image puppet that they dont even need to make the program anymore, answering to the beck and call of an even stupider man in America. Fantastic.

Men it's that simple. Women will say their better because their would be less wars. However if a Women was president we would have a war every 28 days.
Besides whenever women have had the power like men they would always find themselves in a war, see Margaret Thatcher, Joan Of Arc, Budica, the Trung Sisters, Helen of Troy, Golda Meir, Cleopatra etc.
When it comes to war it's not a man thing it's a power thing. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Whenever a human has power they are corrupted by it which also means war. Women do the same as men. Whenever women have had the power they have gone to war too. People just think it's a man thing because we have most of the power.
Also you have to consider this. Some countries oppress Women. Women are second class citizens to them and any women with power it would be against their beliefs. If a women is president these countries (some oil rich) will not deal with the U.S because a women is President. Some of our investments and trading could go down the tubes.

The Problems with women is that Leaders overseas may see weakness of the nation when she is represented by a woman.
Traditionally, most of the countries are managed by men.

There are cases like Germany for Example. That I see a Great
Leader. I do not know whether Hillary Clinton will succeed as his Husband Bill. On other side, Condoleeza Rice that got a special
charming since she is so brilliant as well is seen as tough (everything you want, but weak).
Margaret Thatcher was a very distinguished Prime Minister in UK
as well.

The rulers on much of this land before the coming of the white man were the native peoples. The largest group around the Great Lakes and into the New York area were the Iroquois. In their political system the women were the decision makers. They also had a martiarcal society in which married children took on the mother"s name. In such a society which was a warlike one there was much thought given to political decisions that could result in a war when a mother could decide that her son would go into battle and could be killed. In our society wars are decided on barrels of oil and not the lives of our youth.

Statistically, it will be men because of a very few woman head of state. But with the performances of Margareth Thatcher, Indira Gandhi, Corazon Aquino, Gloria Arroyo, Golda Meir, would you not rate women as better managers? Your own mother can qualify as a better manager of your home than your father. Would running a country be any different?

Unfortunately, there hasn't been alot of women managing countries (especially in the West) I wish this would change...maybe someday we will have the first female President of the U.S. and we could use our brains and reasoning more when it comes to Wars and social issues. Sorry guys, but most all male leaders are all about the power and not the substance of their countries.

That implies that the minds are different between a woman and a man. I think that sex has nothing ot do with it. That a man can be a terrible president as can a woman or both can do great. I think that while a woman could be a good president the rest of the world isn't willing to accept a female leader

Women - as a guess

No Women have led this county, but they couldn't do worse

Men - most crime ridden society in the industrialized world - lobbying - 8 trillion in debt - war in Iraq that should be in the hands of the U.N. by now. - campaign costs through the roof, educational system in disarray

Men are morons sometimes - I know - I am one.

It's not our turn anymore.

By the way, Women have the majority of the vote in every election.

I am a woman and I feel that although both are perfectly capable, men are more resolute and somewhat callous while women are indecisive and sentimental. Men have served our country well and remember that behind every great man there's an even greater woman.
