unsolvable because it is incomplete...where is the other bracket to close the brackets with the one after the 4?

your equation is incomplete. if your equation is 18+4[7+3(9/3)+2], then here is how you work it out:

18+4[7+3(9/3)+2]
= 18+4[7+3(3)+2]
= 18+4[7+9+2]
= 18+4[18]
= 18+72
= 90

=90 really easy isnt it?
3(9/3)=9
7+9+2=18
4(18)=72
& finally 18+72=90
of course your answer will be this if there is a braket at the end to show the limitation!
