Mexico did a good job at times vs Argentina, but when is time to produce, there not inteligence. The problem with the Mexican team is not the coach, is the unexperienced players they have and the ONLY reason they qualified for the World Cup is because they played teams like Canada, Jamaica, Trinida and Tobago, etc. I would like to see how far they'd go if they played with South American teams. They'll watch the future World Cups on TV, always (Like they did today, after Argentina sent them home last Saturday) The best thing that happened to the Mexican team in decades is name Ricardo Lavolpe.

I dont think such, Argentinian has a best combination of players and they play a game with South American style , We can see from the game Germany vs Costa Rica that germany defence is not such strong and about Goal keper he is also not so excellent , The only best thing about Germany is they have good strickers so i'm sure of Argentina will break the defence of Germany but if Germany plays with Neutral that will b difficult for Argentinians and if Germany went on only attacking or only defence then that will be easy for Argentians to win this challenge easily

If Germany will try to do so then probably Argentina qualifies,Germany should press from the beginning, otherwise the best team in this game(argentina) will win,I hope Germans will play same as Mexico(and mexicans are better technicians than germans).

Ranelle:

What Mexico did against Arg. was a total suprise. I believe the mexicans played their hearts out for the 1st time in their football history. Germany's defense needs to do the same thing so they can win the world cup again.

Of course not , mexico's defense is one of the best on the world , starting for marquez and salcido , that we will probably be watching him on arsenal by next year.
Germany is a Midfield team with offense style play(remember costa rica scored 2 goals on the first match) germany defense is good but not as mexican , Mexico is a defense team , which strikes on a counter attack.

Yes l think that Germany will emulate the Mexicans. They played a very unfair game against Australians....but this does not surprise me at all!!! With the penalty kick with 5 seconds left on the game was not a way to end a great game....also 4 out 5 referees of the Socorro's games were suspended for bad calls by FIFA.
Thanks for Having such good sportsmanship....

well, we already know the answer to this question but I want to address the comments that the Lehman cheated by moving around. Please go back and review the rules people!!! As long as he doesn't move off his line before the ball is in motion, the leg movement is acceptable.

You may also reference the Champion's League Final between Liverpool and AC Milan when Dudek kept his legs in motion.

You say racist but I bet it's because you're ignorant and sore that Argentina are on a long flight back home. Great team nonetheless.

Well I'll tell you this; if Argentina win today I will begin to believe in miracles. I have nothing against the Argentines. I just know they peaked too early and have come face to face with a resurgent Germany.

Actually Germany is playing consistanly well than Argentina. But for me I think Argentian is good enough, since they are not taking time at the goal area. They suddenly spot this goal not as germany
