Just like the others have said, Nope, WCW is owned by WWE. TNA is its own company!

Ok -- WWE IS World Wrstling Entertainment -- While they were still known as WWF the World Wildlife FOundation wanted to go to court saying they had their organization long before WWE had the name of WWF, so they had to cahnge the name to WWE, thats wy they blur out WWF logos on signs on any old show tapes.
WCW abd ECW were both bought out by the WWE. Some wrestlers form WCW and ECW went on to WWE, (Booker T. Hogan, Goldberg briefly, Lance Storm Briefly) Those that didnt either went to low rate unknown and unheard of companies.
TNA is old WWE, WCW, ECW wrestlers that have paid their time in the big time and just arent good enough for it, and new guys that wish and are trying to go pro. I mean, look at the list of guys, Kevin Nash (knee screwed up so hes done profesionaly) Sting, Jeff Jerret.... these guys jsut aint cut our to be pro's. So to answer the question, yes WCW is now TNA, some of them are now there.

WCW was owned by Ted Turner and Turner Broadcasting. The WWF bought out WCW and ECW and changed the name to WWE.
TNA is owned by Jeff Jarrett and a few others. It is a completely different organization that has nothing to do with the old WCW.

TNA is a new brand of wrestling sanctioned by the NWA. When the NWA became the WCW, the NWA withdrew their sanctioned titles.
TNA is sanctioned by NWA, and therefore, has recognized NWA championships.

Not exactly...TNA is where the wrestlers who don't want to be owned by Vince McMahon went.

It combined with WWE so WCW is WWE.
