Hi. I noticed around 3 times today while I was just holding my rabbit or while it was layingdown next to be he stared to hiccup or twich quite rapidly for maybe 15 seconds or so. I am wondering if this is normal and if I should take him to a vet? He did not make any gasping noise or look discomfortable. It just scared me a bit. I never realized him do it before.

Oh...i think he seems to be eating, drinking, pooping and peeing normally and I think he is like 5 months old.

A similar question to yours was posted to the rabbit experts and the advice was:

If they don't seem to be distressing her, and she acts normal right after, I wouldn't worry about it. However, if she does seem upset by it, you might want to run her by a rabbit knowledgeable vet to see what it could be.
