MIscataloged

there is no exact definition, but to catalog is To classify (a book or publication, for example) according to a categorical system
and according to the Merriam Webster dictionary miscatalog is in their list of mis words

I think you might have to use two words. No one word miracle is coming to mind....
irregular grouping
hodgepodge
ragtag mix
heterozygously categorized lol that's way out there
dissimilar collection

Wish I could help more cuz those are all pretty lame, maybe if you add a detail about what you're trying to group together it'll help the other answerers.

1. Who says it 'isn't a word'? Of course it is.

2. If you want to avoid using it then just say that these things don't actually belong in the same category. No need for just one word - unless you're dong a crossword puzzle or something.

The correct word should be "Disorganized"

misfiled? "miscategorised" sounds ok to me, maybe try with "s" instead of "z"?
