I think many people felt weird about the fact that she lost all the weight and where not so comfortable watching her new self so they would change to watch something else. So maybe the ratings dropped and they just decided to change the show up a bit to attract those that they lost.
Its not like Star Jones doesn't have a Back-up plan. All this attention is going to work in her favor.

I'm glad I don't like her after she lost all the weight she looks like a crackhead or aids patient. Kinda gross looking.

She's got a good agent--a great baleout package and severence so she ain't gonna be suffering
