After brushing (with whitening toothpaste, preferably the kind with baking soda), dip your clean, wet toothbrush in baking soda and brush (not too hard) for a minute or two. It doesn't taste too hot, but it's great for removing stains. After that, rinse and what not, then follow up with peroxide. I dip a Q-tip in it and rub all my front teeth really well. This also helps kill germs around the gumline. You'll see it bubbling. Follow up with a little mouthwash to freshen the breath.
Try this for a few days and tell me I'm right :)

Stay away from the professional teeth whitening procedures and from the whitening at home kits. They are using extremely toxic chemicals that can cause IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO TOOTH ENAMEL and premature tooth decay.
Check out this site: http://www.naturalwhiteteeth.net - It's about how you can whiten your teeth 100% naturally. Same results but 100% safe and 1000 times cheaper.

The best home methods are baking soda or hydrogen peroxide. Try to stick with these. Remember that these are not a substitute for brushing with fluoride toothpaste -- you must brush with fluoride toothpaste after ANY whitening method to prevent tooth decay!

Baking soda will work for teeth whitening, but it depends on how stained your teeth are as to how well it works.Heavy tobacco and coffee stains need a commercial whitener.

They use to say brush your teeth with a baking soda/water mixture. I don't know if I could handle the taste. Good luck.
