Thank your lucky stars! You will not age as quickly as your dry-faced peers.

You can control the appearance of oiliness with regular facials designed for oily skin, either professional or at home, and when out in the world where stronger methods aren't available, powder. Just a very light dusting of facial powder will make the oil disappear for up to several hours. Be sure to cleanse the face with mild products before going to bed and again in the morning. Often using harsh products will make the skin produce more oil as protection.

If acne and blackheads are part of the problem, get the best at-home products you can afford but avoid the very harsh ones. Severe acne or acne that lasts into your twenties needs attention from a doctor. Often an antibiotic is prescribed long term and it does work miracles in many cases. It worked for me. I had acne into my forties -- but now that I'm 59 I still don't have wrinkles so na na na na NA na. :-)

I was a teacher of cosmetology for many years and didn't practice what I preached, but my students had beautiful skin!

Don't wash your face three times a day. It will only increase the production of sebum and oil because it will dry your face out. Dermatologists are adamant on that point.

I deal with oily skin that gets really dry. I've actually found two things that work.
1. Biore Oil Absorbing Moisturizer (I never thought it would work, but it's awesome)
2. Clean and Clear face blotting papers (or rice paper)

Don't put on lots of powder and don't touch your face too much. It only gets gunk on there that you don't want.

simply wash your face three times a day, age will slow the production of sebum, opening the pores allow the sebum to flow more easily onto the skin surface, an astringent can close pores and remove excess sebum(at home alcohol is the strongest alcohol), oil control products are available in dept stores, drug stores, etc if you can't manage at home
