Yes, cleaning might help. Though, is something I HATE doing so I just usually throw a tantrum and tell my mom I lost it and then she helps me.

Since I always find what I am looking for in the last place I look , I would strongly suggest you look in the last place first and save yourself some time.

concentrate on the object. you will get a feeling that u know where it is . just home on to the feeling....its a nagging thought in the back of your head saying ..".i'm sure its over there".....
go look where your instinct tells you
