why is the devinchy (how ever you spellit) a contradiction?
the movie is mystery but the book is science
- how could you tell that it's science?
and besides, you're too young to think about stuff like this
you should stick to your school books and maybe you could learn a few things about spelling.

It's a contradiction because it's a theory that goes against Christianity, manly the Catholic religion. This theory believes that Jesus was actually married to Mary Magdelene, and that they produced a child (there's more to it than that, but it's the basic gist).
It is a fictional story, however, and only someone's take on religion. Yet again, there are people who seriously believe movies and books to contain truth, and most Christian believers get fired up and upset with those people, defending their beliefs.
Who's right? Who's wrong?
It's a good question.

The Da Vinci code has never been proven, and it's likely that it never will. Movies are what they are, just like National Treasure. Do you honestly think that there is a treasure map on the back of the Declaration of Independence? and as for the book...it's not exactly steeped in facts either. if you believe the book or the movie...then maybe the movie DOGMA can actually happen too

The movie and the book are both fiction as neither are supported by any credible evidence. The History Channel regularly runs a special on it in which they show (using actual evidence) how fictional it is. Once again, Hollywood movie magic solely meant to entertain and make money

Its a well written, well thought out book... The DiVinci Code... but it is also Fiction... Dan Brown will say so himself... There aren't any contradictions if the story is made up.
The book is not science... its Fiction!

The Da Vinci Code is about artifacts, art and literature not science.
Angels and Devils is about science and religion.
You have your Dan Brown novels backwards, and; they are both mysteries.

I believe you are mistaken. The book is not science at all. It is completely fictional. Dan Brown's writing does make it seem as though he is presenting the book as fact, when it is not.

Something about Mary and Jesus being lovers. They are trying to get Christians to disbelieve that Jesus was our savior. If people would just enjoy a movie for what it is, A MOVIE, we wouldn't have all these people with their panties in a wad up their A@@. It is a great movie, and I am still a Christian!

People can't seem to get it through their minds that..."if it is that much of a problem, don't give it publicity!" Giving it publicity makes it more popular! I think everyone needs to wake up and realize that! When they do...all of the "loser movies and topics" will properly fade out of our lives much faster instead of becoming the "most contraversial".

DaVinci.......ya know, like Leonardo DaVinci. I think the movie was retarded. It really didnt have much to do with a CODE. I've heard how you are supposed to use this CODE....but they dont really do any of that in The DaVinci Code...they just say Jesus was married...had a daughter...woman are better...they were suppose to rule and men are assholes and took over!!! haha.
