i kow that i'm too old for cartoons. but i can't stop watching Danny Phantom. BUt i keep wondering why Vlad keeps going after him for.

Because, in college, Vlad was in love with Maddie, Danny's mom. But, after the ghost portal accident (that was induced by Jack), Vlad contracted a bad case of ecto-acne, and was isolated from the rest of the world until he was an adult (ultimately, it also granted him an alter ego, a ghost side, Plasmius). Leaving Jack to marry Maddie, and have Jazz and Danny. The reason he keeps after Danny is because he wants to destroy Jack and win Maddie's heart. With Danny in the way, always protecting his father, he can't acomplish that goal.

Danny is always foiling Vlad's plans. He probably is more powerful than Vlad. He is Vlad's arch enemy. Vlad's jealous of Danny's father. He doesn't like him. I think the main reason is Vlad was originally trying to kill Jack, but Danny attacked the ghosts Vlad hired.

Because Danny Phantom is Jack Fenton's son. Jack is Vlad's enemy.

Becuase he realizes Danny Phantom will be more powerful than him in the future.
Danny is already starting to become more powerful.
I am sad to say that Nick has cancelled the series for next season. I love that show.

Cause he gets to kill a potential power rival and devastate Jack Fenton at the same time. He gets to kill two birds for the price of one Ghost-Boy.
I'm too old for it too, but that doesn't stop me!!
