Go to Start -> Run, and type regedit. Hit OK.

Knock yourself out...

You might want to research what you're doing, because making a change or deleting a key that you need can f-up Windows. Why don't you start by explaining what it is you're trying to accomplish here.

Your computer probably has a program installed to scan an repair the registry. When you scan it and remove the errors it should automatically backup everything it scanned in a folder in case you have to restore. If this program is on your pc than read in the help about how it works. If you don't have anything like that on your pc than you can buy registry booster or registry tune-up for about $30.00 and it works great cause I have registry tune-up. I hope I helped you out some.

Why? When did your registry go bad? System restore can help. It is best not to play around with the registry.

If you've messed something up and you don't have much experience with the registry...don't touch it. There's nothing YOU can do.

If you need to ask, you dont know enough to do it safely. If you really must, use something like hijackthis to remove programs or an automatic tool for general cleaning.

don't try it, since you've no experience you would be messing it up further. Leave it to the pro's and call an engineer to fix it.
