In a normal society it should be normal to still be a virgin but today, teens and pre-teens are losing their virginity at an early age. I strongly recommend you talking to your parents if that is an issue because if you were my daughter I would want her to discuss this issue with me. In my opinion, I would abstain from sex and try to wait for that special someone. I believe that premarital sex just complicates your life. In a relationship between you and your significant other, it just adds more pressure to your life. It is a lot easier to deal with a break up in a relationship that does not involve a sexual relationship. I feel women put their heart into a relationship when they add sexual tendencies to it. Now a days all you hear is...I wish I would have waited because it was not worth it. Losing your virginity is something that you will not get back no matter how much you may regret it. When it is right for you and not for society...is when your heart says yes. I wish you all the luck. Listen to what your inner voice says because it is always right.

Yes. Many people remain virgins through their teens and=into their 20's. Although sex is great, there is no reason to rush into it. I know a lot of people (seems more often guys) brag about loosing their virginity at a young age, most of it is macho b.s.

If you do decide to have sex, it it almost always better with a committed partner. In any case NEVER have unprotected sex. That means the guy wears a rubber - a new one- EVERY TIME.
No exceptions.

One really cool thing that involves sex is learning all of the ways to please your partner. A couple can both have orgasms and really genuine pleasure without intercourse. That is, no sticking it in. Oral sex is one thing partners can do with and for each other.

Remember that any exchange of bodily fluids can lead to STDs. so be super careful every time.

Do not have sex with anyone who refuses to use protection. Ever.

Is it normal, I don't know but it should be. I still believe in waiting until after you get married and I do not believe that 14 is a good age to be married. I would like to commend you on still being a virgin. Good for you!! I just hope that more people your age find comfort in still being a virgin.

it is so normal. i was a virgin until recently and im eighteen now. but there are women who are 24 and still virgins. some people wait till marriage, some dont. Hold onto it. dont give it up to just anyone. guys really can leave you immediately after, thats what happend to me. be in a meaningful realtionship at the very least for a good amount of time. make him wait to sleep with you.dont give it to jus anyone, PLEASE. youre only a virgin once, and your first time is something youre gonna remember forever. also not everyone is doing it. dont believe that everybody is. both people in my graduating class actualy hadnt had sex

Don't be in a hurry man. When you start having sex you're actually taking on quite a bit of responsibility and not just for yourself. The reason most people think it's better to wait till your a decent age before having sex is because it's better to have a bit of life experience and wisdom behind you to help you take it as serious as it should be taken...

It's totally normal so I wouldn't worry about it. I was 20 when I first did it...

That is terrific!!! I don't even know you, but I am VERY PROUD of you!!! Don't let anyone take that from you until YOU are 150% sure that's what YOU want! I really hope you can wait till marriage, I wish I would have, I really regret that!!! I was 16 and I wish with all my heart that I could say that my husband was my one and only, but I can't, I hope you don't make that mistake!!! Yes, you are normal, you are above normal!!!

Yes it is very normal!! Do not let anyone make you feel bad for being a virgin. if anyone has anything negative to say about it get away from them QUICK. you'll have plenty of time for sex and all the consequences involved. right now just enjoy being young.
