I have to say, although I wasn't that BIG of a fan, I only really watched it because of Star and Meredith. Definitely now that BOTH are gone, there's no reason for me to even glimpse at it.

I didn't mind Joy, but that Elisabeth....... man........ she just thinks she knows it ALL. And very disrespectful to her guests on the show. Which I couldn't stand. (<----sent her an email, too)

Anyway, I hate that Star left, but I know that she'll be OK. I feel that THE VIEW, will not be viewed to much longer. ( Just my view about that) :)

GLAD TO SHE HER GO!
Freaky looking, greedy, cry baby!
She got fired and is pouting over it!
The majority of people do not like her (according to the network and they would not fire somebody that is popular) for numerous different reasons. I can't stand her and stopped watching the View specifically because of her but I will start watching again when Rosie comes back.
Barbara should feel betrayed, Star stabbed her in the back by going on live TV and making that announcement, tacky!
Star says that she will have another TV show but I don't think it will be popular at all.

I think they are jerks. Rosie and Star never got along....so they hire Rosie...then decide not to offer Star a contract for another season. Then Barbara says SHE is betrayed? How in the world does that make sense?

The View is Man-hating dribble. They have no class.....and they care only for their own backs. They will kill and eat anyone in their way. SICK!

If she was only honest about losing the weight instead of saying she had a medical intervention and not being so greedy receiving all of those freebies maybe people would respect her more. She is an extremely intelligent person. Tonite when she was on Larry King she had admitted that she had weight reduction surgery. She's making it look like she's the victim. Remember when E Entertainment network replaced her with Ryan Seacrest.

Hated the way it happened but it never would have worked out with Rosie coming on. They are both too opinionated.

Star Jones is an idiot -- what exactly is she famous for? Begging vendors for free stuff for her wedding and then bragging about how nice her wedding was?

P.S. The View sucks anyway and will suck even more with Rosie......

No one on The View is classy. A group of women making the rest of us look like morons is not classy.
