LOVE IT!!!!!! And I am not one of those people who just started listening to it because it is turning in to a little pop. I have been born and raised on country music and love it to death. It is all that I listen to! I hate pop, rap, hip hop... what ever you call it! Country is God's music! I don't think that it is sad, depressing, or anything like that! It is WONDERFUL!!!!!!! I think that I am a true country girl!
The only thing that I don't like about it now a days is that it is so, pop! I mean, I used to love the old type of country music before it went all Badonkadonky! I mean, rap is the music to discriminate women, not country! What has happend. Soon there will be rap in the middle of a classic and great country song. Has anyone ever heard of 'I was country, when country wasn't cool'? And for me, that is true. When everyone was into Brittaney Spears and NSYNC, I was listening to country. And I felt so weird because all of my friends were listening to that, but when they got in the car with me, it was nothing but country.
I just can't believe what has happened to our old and wonderful country. Soon the country that was country about 5-10 years ago (the good country) will turn into the oldies and the new country will be too fast for anyone to hear the words. There will be no point, no love, and no music. It will be a crap **** and I will probably have to hear it every where I go! I am so sick of it!
But for now, I am still loyal to the great american country (yes, I said american!)

The only music I listen to is country. I love country music. My nickname gives my perspective, country music is my R&B.
Ballad: A narrartive poem intented to be sung, of a romantic or sentimental nature.
Like the Temptations, most of the country western artist are balladeers. On the other hand, most Black music today makes no sense. Even if you can understand the words, you will find that the words are strung together in meaningless phrases. I gave up R&B for country music.
In my opinion, country music is an wonderful art form that is here to stay.

Okay, I confess, I really like country music! The problem is that today there is very little country music. The vast majority of what people refer to as country music is really crossover music which is made to appeal to a broader fan base. The country music I love is Red Neck Beer Joint Jukebox Crying in Your Beer Music!

i love u . s . music, preferrably from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and ninety's... no offense what-so-ever to more recent 2000's music, I do only not look after it extremely... new u . s . is extra like pop with a metallic guitar. I do income from the meanings in the music, besides the undeniable fact that. i love how there is not any offensive language (maximum the time) and there is a u . s . music suiting the mood you're in (chuffed, unhappy, indignant, etc.) i'm a blues-classic rock-metallic head, yet some Hank Williams, Jr. or Waylon Jennings and Johnny funds continually unearths its way onto my iPod audio gadget now and again :)

Some of it is enjoyable, some of it is not. Some songs have a swinging upbeat feel to it and others are rather slow and repetitive. Country music, rock music, rap music, etc. all have some good and some bad.
Honkytonk Badonkadonk is a great song.
