Because it is an easy out. I like and enjoy certain people of many races. The reason, simple, because they are real people. They are not constantly harping about how they got a bad deal. They are honest, clean, hardworking people. They don't believe the world owes them a living. They exceed in doing their fair share. They don't think that they are entitled to a free piece of pie. I am not racist toward these people regardless. If however a group of people who are in one accord, to get something for nothing, because it is owed to them. It is too bad so sad. I would rather not be around them.

Racism comes in so many different forms that it's easily noticed by someone that it affected but not as easily noticed by the person who wasn't purposely being racist.
It is often times hard to stop ourselves from using words that are inappropriate because they easily sneak into our heads and sometimes slip from our lips.
The point is, everyone should try harder to see people and not the color of their skin. I personally have no problem with any person's ethnicity, my dislikes and "isms" come into play when people in general are just stupid. I think everyone should have a low tolerance for stupid people because once stupidity is deemed totally unacceptable, people will be forced to step up and act more intelligently.

People are alot less racist than they used to be actually. Personally, I think that the reason race is becoming more of an issue is because more people are being open about inter-racial dating. I think that this issue sparks racism on all sides.
(BTW I'm not against inter-racial relationships at all!! I just think alot of people are and it provokes people to discuss race more then they would under other circumstances.)

Because humans are imperfect. I mean I'm sure there are racist people, just like there are still people who rape, murder, steal, on and on and on the list goes. The day racism is gone is the day I'll float to heaven on a magic carpet.

I think that there was more people racist before. People are more tolerant now. I think that people are afraid of other people and some people are not able to compromise a little bit to become likeable. and than problems arise.

there is a fine line to walk between realism and racism. Usually, the ignorant fall on the racist side

people are racist of every day...
Each race prefers their own kind... with only minor exceptions. You don't think black mothers teach theri children to distrust whitey.
I can prove that blacks are racist too... with 4 words...
Louis Faracan and Jesse Jackson.

I think racism has decreased greatly over the last decade.
I do agree there are still some people that are. I think that is more out of fear, ignorance and anger.
