I like to play around with photos. I want to know I can make an effort in pictures or make it animate. I only know of it a little like shade, sharp, or size. That's all I know.

PhotoShop is a very useful tool. It may take years to master the program, but you can get professional results with some basic commands. One feature that may be useful to you is the automatic level adjustment. Using the short cut keys "control" + "shift" + "L" will set color, brightness and contrast at the time. Get some instruction books like PhotoShop Bible and practice. Also the Adobe magazine is a tremendous help and you will find a lot of help on adobe.com.

Its fairly intuitive but has quite the learning curve. Hands-on is the way to go.
I've won awards with photoshop( http://www.sarmonster.net/design/photoshop.htm ) and been using it since 1994 and STILL haven't used all of its features.

Photoshop is super difficult, you have to either read the book or take a class, I am currently reading the book, still have problems. You could always try another program.
