I like Frontline at www.pbs.org . www.cbc.ca just started online programming in Canada. I liked the "To Catch a Predator" series on Dateline on www.msnbc.com, and www.msn.com has a lot of stuff like 45 screens of Jay Leno skits. If you like going back in time, watch the short histroy videos on History Channel online.

However, all these programs are streamed, and I heard on the news, streamed videos can never be recorded.

I don't know about "television" per sé.. but there are some pretty cool vids (streaming and downloadable) through Winamp.
- Open Winamp
- Open Media Library"
- Under "Online Services" open "Shoutcast TV"

Also, you can download Video Podcasts through iTunes. Download iTunes for free from Apple.com.
- Open iTunes
- Click "Music Store" (Far left)
- Click "Podcasts" (Left side)
- Click "Video Podcasts" (Big purple button in the middle)
