Yes or your GED!!
You can join under their Ged program but you still have to have it before you can go to basic training!!

I think you have to be at least 18 to join the army, and you have to have a high school diploma or a GED.

Since we have a volunteer military, there is a requirement that you either have a high school diploma or a GED certificate. Some services may require mkore than a GED. I would suggest you contact a military recruiter to get a complete answer.

A few years ago they required a high school diploma but due to their current difficulties making their recruitment numbers, they'll take you with a GED. If you're interested, call a recruiter and ask him. Who knows, maybe they'll even let somebody in without even a GED these days...

no, the less you know the better soldiar they can make out of you. too much knowledge only gets in the way. you recruiter can show you how to get a GED real easy so he can get you in.
