My stepfather was on his way to work this evening and spotted a strange object in the sky. He got out of his vehicle and said it was silent and had amber colored lights in a curved V shape. He was REALLY freaked out when he called my mother form his cell phone. It is not in his nature to get so anxious and call my mother the way he did. Thanks for your help.

I don't know where to report it--or why he'd need to, for that matter, but I really wanted to comment on the reality of UFOs.

OF COURSE there are UFOs. I saw one yesterday. It was flying, and I didn't know what it was. Therefore, it was a UFO. People see them all the time! I think yesterday's was a T-38 Talon, but I'm not sure. Sure was quick, though, and sexy.

I'm sorry that upset your stepdad, but not being able to identify something doesn't mean it needs to be reported. Very few enemy aircraft or alien spacecraft are going to get past NORAD. Really they aren't. When the aliens come, it isn't going to be a secret.

I just hope they won't be a road construction crew.

Ok .. first of all tell your step dad he isn't hallucinating and that 99% of UFO sightings are not from the US ... you have already gotten a taste of how some people react to this and for that I am sorry. Try the link below .. it is to a very established research group. On the front page is a link to a section called "what to do if I see a UFO". It should prove helpful.

You dad is Hallucinating. How come all the UFOs visit only the U.S. 99% of UFO sightings are from the U.S alone. It maybe some military experimental aircraft.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but the probability that it was actually an alien spacecraft is really small. It could be a toy flying in the air that he saw. Those can be silent.

there is no evidence that there is alien UFOs this might just be a new aircraft that the army or the navy or whatever one that flies around. some people might just be crazy or they're just really tired and might have just spotted an airplane. if you don't have the whole world seeing this "UFO" no one will believe you.
