I know they have their pride but, why?

simply put because we're afraid. it's more then pride sometimes. sometimes it's your feelings we're concern about.but mostly it'd fear. lets say it's the infamous "i love you" here's what an average guy might think "I think i love her. should i tell her? i cant. what if she doesn't love me? or doesn't say it back, or once she knows she has the power to hurt me. or what if she does hurt me? i better not say anything." we're dumb i know. but woman can be evil. I've always said for every bad guy there is a woman who created him.

Well, let's see...
1) If I let my emotions get the better of me, every guy at my school would be having a crack on me every half a second.
2) My dad clobbered me over the head when I was 3 for crying after spilling his coffee over myself... It was not punishment for his coffee, it was for crying.
3) If the girl I just asked out ever saw my true emotions and I told her everything I thought, I'm pretty damn sure she'd consider me a nut-case and run for the nearest "happy-house" and come back with the men in whtie jackets to take me there.

Because most women are vindictive and abusive. They take everything and use it against a man to get what they want. We hide our feelings and thoughts because it is easier. Besides, we think rationally and women think emotionally. Even if we expressed our thoughts, most women would not understand them. After all, women express themselves constantly and men do not understand women.

That would have to be "Some men" my husband dose NOT hide his feelings..... he shares with me all the time!!! Maybe its because we are married but he did the same when we were just friends, still when we were dating.... so you just got to find the right guy!!! I do know that they do....... I have 9 brothers and most of them hide their feelings....... thats why I didnt date that kind. it bothers me. I like to know whats going on in my husbands head!!!

because over most of the millenia of human development men have been out hunting - so there is no place for displaying emotion
if you get emotional while hunting a mammoth then you will probably go hungry or maybe the mammoth will kill you instead

because they have relized that there is always a twist or can be taken out of context, then in a womans mind their must be some deeper meening, but in reality most guys are pretty shallow

They always want to be the stronger vessel. Tradition has taught them to be tuff. If they reveal their thoughts, then, they feel vunerable because of a lack of trust. When men trust you, there is nothing he want tell you. Gain his trust first. Please don't tell the men I gave up this secret.
