I like it here. Yes its hot but the other 7 or 8 months of the year are very nice weather. Housing is fairly cheap. I guess it depends what your looking for

I'm from San Diego, So Phoenix isn't too far and I've been there my share of times. It's not too bad, not a whole lot to do. I guess the best thing to do would be to just look into the state itself. Sometimes it's nice to get to know the history and even visit places of historic value. Or you can just go bungee jumping, rock climbing, etc. There's always something to do no matter where you go. I got a source that's just on the state itself, give some info. Other than that, all I can say is that it's very warm and there no humidity.

ITS WONDERFUL! Phoenix is great...... I just got out of the Army with my husband and 2 kids we moved here to Arizona and I lOVE it. No more muggy weather..... nice and sunny all the time...... swimming, going to parks, shopping on sunny days. Arizona is sooooo beautiful. The east was hard for me. In the Army we lived in North Carolina for 4 1/2 years. Now that Im in Arizona I will never move out. You will love it. Yes its hot..... sometimes over 100. But if you have a swimming pool.... its perfect weather to bask in the pool...... dont forget to go around and SEE Arizona while your here..... there is the most beautiful things to see here. Visit this site. And take the JOB!!!!!

phoenix is crazy. the traffic is insane. I live in Yuma, which is about 3 hours away (2 1/2 if i drive ~.^) It's hot, but you'd be surprised at how accustomed you get to the dry heat. I just moved here from Ohio 7 months ago. It's incredibly boring in Yuma(so many old people), but I bet theres plenty of fun things to do in phoenix. At least bands perform concerts there. And I hate Mexican food, so the large hispnic influence judt doesn't do it for me >.<

Phoenix is the armpit of Arizona. Crowded, dirty, too much traffic and the Mexican food sucks. So many better places in Arizona!

Yeah, but it's a "dry heat". As if that matters when it's 110*!
