i am trying to take out a blown head from 91 chevy cavalier and it is giving me a head time. what make so difficult is that the steering pump is in the way. how do take that out?

take the bolt,s out of the pump,,and lower it down out of the way,,then you will be able to see it a little bit better,,there are a lot of thing,s to take off to do this job,,just be sue you can remember where all of them go,,good luck with it,,i hope this helps you.

changing a head gasket is very hard if you have never done it before take it to a shop if it is a vavle gasket just remove the bolts from the top of the vavle body and lift it up

take the head off, if you never did one pay somone to do it. i think on that year you have to take the top end of the motor off to change the head gasket.

You see where its held on at and remove that. If you get frustrated, walk away and try again later. Works for me.
