my questions always go for too long without getting answers, then they get stupid answers from weirdos. can you avoid this?

the question is redundant, and has the tone of someone who needs some self respect. You might try shorter questions with easy answers; but display some intellect and the weirdos won't be able to figure them out.

I went back and looked at all your questions. I would do a couple of things different if I wanted more answers.
1. Ask different questions.
2. Classify them in different subject areas.
3 Short simple questions seem to get more answers.

Change your categories. Some categories are way more popular than others. You'll always get answers from weirdos. I just wish they wouldn't waste their time with "I don't know" answers!

Not really. People just don't know what to say. Your questions are to complicated. So they answer with something wierd to avoid looking stupid.

As you said they are long. People dont want to sit their and read long questions they just want to answer them and move on.
Try making them shorter and more direct. That way people wont have a hard time reading the question. Remember questions are not meant to be long...

By the looks of it you have solved the mystery. I answer shorter questions. I hate reading paragraph of text. So cut the verbiage and you will get more responses.

It depends - what kind of questions are you asking? Maybe try asking questions that require a little more thought than a one line answer?
