for answer number 2: i moved to Indonesia, my home country which i love, in '94.
wow, seeing as how sensitive you are, you must really feel the hate?
Its not like I despise the US, but as the US is superpower country of the earth which a lot of other counties look up to, it would be interesting to see what the world thinks of the US.
I'm not ashamed to ask. And unlike you at least i show my identity and am open for a healthy debate.

I know you said non American citizens however I didn't think you would mind if an American citizen answered. I can feel the anger as I travel and sometimes people will actually tell me they dislike me because I'm American. I also have people tell me they are angry at my Govt. Either way it hurts because I like many Americans feel we do take a positive leadership roll in the world.
We also are damned if we do and damned if we don't. If we stand by and not act then we are hated for that, If we get involved then we are hated for that.
We do a lot of good in the world, But no one ever remembers that?
I as one citizen of the US respect the opinions of any person in the world, whether you like us or not we believe it is your right to have an opinion and FREELY express it!

The Canadian government keeps quiet most of the time .
The people think the US is a war mongering blood thirsty country with no ethics at all. As to the if you don't like it (US) don't come here - maybe you should consider staying in your own country and not going to someone else's to "help". If you don't like Iraq than stay the f***k out of it? There is about one war per president and it's always with a nation no one has ever heard of.
The US is mistrusted worldwide. The poor US citezen sho believes the crap they are spoon fed on CNN is ussually pretty shocked when they travel.

I live in Mexico and I can assure you that for many years, most mexicans did not know about the US Government nor about their own government, this is really disppointing but true.
But things have changed gradually, people is now a lot more interested in government and international affairs.
But answering your question, the general opinion of the US Government in my country is not a very good one. In my own opinion, the US Government has rendered a very bad opinion internationally, but still, americans are very hard-working, well-intentioned and disciplined people.
Unfortunately for the american people, their government is behind much more powerful interests, no matter what the outcome (war with other countries, for example).

I'm Canadian and while we generally support the American people a lot of Canadians really don't like what the American government has been doing. It seems that the world is to be run according to what the American government of the day wants. The rest of the world has to suffer along for American government selfishness.

The Iraq human beings didn't want the united statesthere. in case you sense that invading their land is powerful, flow ahead. How is that strong? If ruining the worlds view on the united statesis strong to you, than flow ahead. end performing like the police of the international. enable the different international places come back on there feet. they did not ask for help. no longer each and absolutely everyone bashes, yet once you get protective and characteristic no understand for different cultures, we've a tendency to get mad. So end searching at it as others are the project. in case you sense like that you're the concern. Edit: hi. you're very ignorant. Africa isn't a contry. and they did not ask for help. end giving help. no one ask the United Statesto assist. Watch the information. you've been deceive and brainwashed. this kind of lack of information and that you sense that you could not do any incorrect is exacly what frustrates human beings. look in a historic previous e book. i don't think of you even complete college yet. not one of the contries requested for help. Why do you sense the want to invade and act like you're protecteing the folk in that contry? and that i opt to entice close exacly who expects this from you, except your self.
