Yes! Many people not know this, but, it is true. My sister had a Pet Shop and WE do know and told her customers. Gold Fish are actually Bulimic!!!! They eat and vomit and eat more. That why it Very important to feed them small amounts of food. This a reason a Goldfish Bowl get cloudy very fast. They Pigging out. So, I assume other fish do the same. My Oscars, if, they very hungry and I give them too many minnows, they Scarf down!!!! The Result of too many minnows..................They Vomit!!! Be Headless minnows floating around everywhere.

Ugh.. yes - fish drink. They HAVE to drink. Freshwater fish don't *need* drink as much water as saltwater fish do - but because of osmosis, their body is naturally absorbing water from their environment constantly. Since they don't want to absorb so much water they burst, they typically expel excess water via the kidneys would produce an extremely diluted urine. Saltwater fish have the opposite problem - their bodies are hypertonic to the water (meaning there is higher solute concentration in the ocean than in their cells) so water wants to LEAVE their bodies. As a result, marine fish "drink" water constantly to prevent their cells from shriveling up due to the water wanting to move out into the higher concentrated ocean water. It's a matter of biological physics, in some manners. And yes - some fish (especially hooked ones when fishing) can vomit.

I would assume then can but I'm not really sure as I have never seen it. And when breeders ship fish they fast them so they don't pollute the water by pooing, it has nothing to do with getting sick and vomiting.

Yes they can! A lot of breeders withhold feeding fish that are to be shipped, because many varieties do get seasick!

no they eat and spit out food i used to have fish and we called petsmart and they say thats how they eat
