I think this is absolutely the case. If you are happy with yourself, then that means that you've come to the ultimate realization that what other people think doesn't really matter in the long run.
Once you understand this, it becomes easier to view other people as what they are and not judge what you want them to be. That makes accepting other people's ideas (even if you don't agree with them) much, much easier.

I think so. I think people who are comfortable with themselves
will, even if they disagree with an idea, be willing to listen to and consider others opinions. They are less likely to feel threatened by an idea that is foreign to them.

Yes, I think that's the case.
If we are secure in who we are, it gives us the freedom to be accepting of others. We are all different and we can listen to each others thoughts ,beliefs and ideas. It doesn't have to mean we will always agree, but we can be open to others sharing who they are and what they think with us.

I think they are more open to listen to other's ideas because they are content with who they are, They have solid grounding in themselves, their beliefs, and know that they aren't easily swayed. Yet, they will consider all viewpoints because they are healthy in their own minds.
