I have a linksys network everywhere router model nr041. It will run fine for a minute then resets itself and I'm staring at the alert of a network cable is unplugged. All the cables work fine when correctly plugged into the modem. Any suggestions?

Have you talked to the people at linksys? They are really nice people and easy to deal with.
Make sure you have flashed it with the current patches and it should run unless there is something wrong - overheating or something like that.

Is the router resetting when this happens? Look at the router when your PC loses its connection. See if the lights go off and come back on as if it's going through it's startup diagnostic check. If they are, then something is wrong internally on the router, or the power going to it is failing. Definitely make sure the power cable is securely plugged in at both ends.

Also, see if the router turns off/on on its own when your PC is not connected to it. You may have to get it replaced.

You should double-check that the A/C power adapter is the correct one. One time I reused one from an older router and it kept doing that.
It could be a malfunction in the router, actually the hardware. If that's the case, Linksys will replace it for you.
You should give them a call, they really help.
