Its common to have those feelings cause you think you can trust the person with all your inner details and secrets... The way you would want a serious relationshiop to be. And you have to remember,t he person you want to spend the rest of your life with has to be your friend first. You should think of them as your best friend. And love simply follows naturally. Thats the recipe for a great relationship anyhow.

That is pretty much like asking if you can have a close friend relationship with a person who is straight and the opposite sex as you. Friendships can end up being just extra-long foreplay...but it's possible to be "just friends" if you don't have intimate relations with them...ever. Once you cross that line, no matter what kind of relationship it once was, you can't even see that line anymore, much less get back to it in order to hop back over it.

Yes, it is possible to have intimate feelings for a best friend. Especially as it adds to any encounters you may think about. It would be most enjoyable as it depends on the friend and how close you really are.

It is very common, who else knows you the best think befor you act though on how it could affect your relationship if its acted on.
make sure they feel the same way first drop little hints to them. and if they dont notice then they may not feel the same or be truthful and it may suprise you how open they will be with you.
Dont do anything to destroy the friendship because friends can last forever.

I used to have the hots for my (straight) best friend before I was "out". Thank god I didn't act on the feelings because now, 15 years later- he's still my best friend and all is well in my life and his.

It was tough for me for a while- getting used to the feelings, jelousy, etc... but I grew up!

Yes, because being intimate is being close with another and that is what being friends is about. It doesn't mean you yourself are homosexual, it just means you have the ability to respect one's sexual orientation and be friends with them for who they are (congrats, you are ahead of most of the world, today)

I would say its harder to date a friend than a stranger. If you havent had a gay experience before, I suggest a "tester" with a non-friend for now

Yep! that's your first resource of common feelings, all dough later you may regret it because friendship probably get lost over a simple misunderstanding.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I sometimes feel like that for one of my friends, but we aren't lesbian.
