Cleanse, tone, and moisturize every morning and evening using skin care products made for oily skin. Some people think oily skin doesn't need moisturizer, but it is very important, especially one with an spf during the day. It's also important to remove make-up before sleeping; make-up clogs pores. Then once a week, use a mask (after toning) made for oily skin. After removing the mask, use moisturizer. It might take a couple of weeks to see results. Make sure to do this regimen every day.

There are products made now, towelettes, to use during the day to absorb oil.

First thing first, don't be scared of having oily skin! you will line a lot less quickly than drier skin types. Having a natural balance of oil is healthy for your skin. Now, this being said there are problems that can arise from an overproduction of oil from your sebum glands.

Step One- Use an oil free soap to cleanse your skin twice a day...this will sweep away surface dirt and oil

Step Two- Use a Clarifying Lotion to get off surface dead skin....not a toner....a Clarifying Lotion

Step Three- Use an oil free, oil absorbant moisturizer. Oilier skins still need hydrator, you have a lack of water and overproduce oil to compensate. You want a balance of oil and water

Go to a Clinique counter, get skin typed, and start three step!!

Hey!

Okay, this is going to sound really weird but this is one of the BEST-KEPT BEAUTY SECRET for those with oily skin: applying Milk of Magnesia to your skin completely sucks up oil. Weird, yes... but it's been a godsent for me!!

I totally understand your problem. I have chronically oily skin, friends have actually told me to wipe my face because it gets so oily. Milk of Magnesia has helped me tremendously! My face stays matte through the day!

Check out the glowing reviews of it on this popular beauty site: http://makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemID=10870/Milk_of_Magnesia/Unlisted_Brand/Masks/

Rubbing alcohol! Put a little of it on a cotton ball and dab it on your clean dry face 3 times a day for a week then once in the morning and before bed, it also is EXCELLENT for acne! Your face will dry out a little at first, but then it will be just fine!
