I have a disorder that unfortunately endorses that. I went undiagnosed until I was 19. I was very socially impaired, thus child-like and still am around people. Due to other aspects of my disorder, I cannot be self-reliant. I cannot work, live independently or go out into public independently. I do not have relationships. My emotions can become erratic and child-like under stress. Because of the aforementioned, I didn't go on to college. I think my intellect is where it should be, but despite a decade of therapy, my mental and emotional self are an imprisoned youth stuck in the rush-hour traffic of passing time. I am Ms. K and I have autism.

Well, at more than 40 I tend to hold things further away to see them, I still feel pretty good. Always been energetic but as I get older, I notice the differences get more noticeable. As you get older, your brain changes too and things that you were willing to do with a less than fully developed frontal lobe aren't as practical anymore.

Yes I sure do. Like I have a sense of humour at times that surprises even me. I try not to be depressed about growing older but we should get more mileage out of our twenties and thirties don't you think?

Yes, I don't feel any different, but when I look in the mirror.....it's like "Lordy! Who is that woman with the crow's feet?"

I dunno. Am I going down a water slide when you're asking? I've been 29 since 1998. When I hit 40, I'm going to start counting backwards.
