I was eating trail mix, i noticed what felt like powder in my mouth, then i felt them cralwing on my face, i looked at my shirt and it had hundreds of tiny (berly visable) red ants. I freaked ou, then i noticed they was in my trail mix, I dont know how many i ate, hundreds, I imeditly took a shower after spitting the food (and ants) all over my room. I can still feal them crawing all over me. What shuld i do, by the way i have always ben severly afraid of ants. I cant evin think strate. I just keep shivering and i gag every now and then, what shuld i do, i alredy spraid bleach on my floor and my shirt. would that kill ants, im really scared of ants. will they mess up my stomac?

Um.. if it makes any diffrence, these ants wer crawling all over my face, thats how i notice they were there. I hate ants evin more now, i am still shivering.

The trail mix had ben left out, opened, since easter. I did not know that at the time. is that bad.

Wow, sounds like a scene from a horror movie. Read: Attack of the Killer Ants.
I don't think they'll do too much to you though, except give you nightmares. A guy I know said he ate ants once, and they tasted like lemon drops. I'd say that's because of the formic acid that they have (the same thing they inject into you and make you itch when they bite). So you may have a little upset stomach because of the acidity from all those ants. Other than that, I can't think of anything else.
My cousin ate a cockroach once, if that helps any. :)

People eat ants and other bugs everyday because they don't have anything else to eat. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, you're probably fine. If you don't feel well or continue to worry about it you should see your doctor. It's probably nothing to worry about though, like an above answer says, breathing in that bleach is probably more unhealthy than the ants themselves.
Also, If I were you, I would write to the trail mix company and as respectfully as you can and let them know what happened.

Unless you put down bug poison, you're fine. Believe me, it actually might be good, as it's probably a good source of protien.
Just for laughs, I'll say that as a boy I ate all kinds of bugs. I kid you not I actually ate everything from pillbugs and worms to ants and small beetles when I was a boy. I'd wait till mom wasn't looking, then actually slurp worms. I didn't chew them as I didn't like the taste, very acidic (pillbugs are even worse), I just swallowed them whole. And you know what? I was just fine.

I don't think the ants will mess up your stomach. Did you know you can buy chocolate covered ants. Not something I would want to try.

no they wont hurt you unless of course you had ant poision out in your home and then poision control can help you with that. good luck.
