japanese vs american cars which is better?

Japanese are extremely more reliable than the American ones.
Now, if you are looking just for the looks, some American like Chryslers are very nice.
But considering everything I'd definately choose a Japanese car.

It depends on where you buy them. If you are purchasing in the US, then the Japanese cars are better. If you are in Japan, the US cars are generally better, but the roads you can travel are fewer due to size limitations. If you are in Europe, most Japanese cars a weak, so the best cars are either German or American. In Mexico the American cars are slightly better than the Japanese cars. It all depends on the market, the usage, and how badly the car companies feel that they have to compete to get the business.

well depends on the person , i prefer American made , the parts are cheaper 90% of the time and they don't rust out as bad depending on where you live ( salt on road here in winter ) but the American companies are changing there cars to be more like the Japanese ones as far as gas mileage goes but u have to also look at different things when u buy like the cost of insurance , the insurance company will take in to affect the cost to repair the car when the give u a quote and u may pay more because its going to cost them if some thing happens to it because its going to cost them more ti fix what ever gets broke in an accident , then there is cot of the car as well Japanese are not as cheep most times as u may be led to believe look at the options u want and go shopping , ether way its all up to you and your tastes ,
