You were born on a cusp so you have traits from both signs. Really, I would say that which ever one you think applies to you more you could say is your sign, but I would say probably capricorn.
I have the same problem. I was born Aug 23 and can be leo or virgo. I have seen the virgo date more often and my personality fits that of a virgo MUCH more then a leo.

sounds like you'r a CUSP meaning inthe middle of both i think it works like if you're born after 12pm it's aquarius and before it's capricorn
also it all depends which matchs more with you
