Yes, I would like to know when I was going to die. Well, there's a chance that it's inevitable, so I would tie up all of my "loose ends," too, assuming that I had any. But, of course, I would do everything in my power to avoid it. Actually, that's the reason why I would like to know - if I didn't, I would have much less of a chance of avoiding it - and I only believe in tendencies for the future, not pre-destination, so yes I would think it would be possible to avoid it.

there would be some benefits to knowing when; but what would you gain by avoiding it? the question to your answer would depend on how much time you have.
after your born, the process of dying begins; in between you want to be loved, make lots of money and surround yourself with good friends and a family.
4:30pm is about 15 hours away and most of the things you should do should have been done. If not, make sure you have the exact change ready................
and by the way do not forget your mothers admonition to wear clean under ware.

No way I'd want to know! If I knew that nothing could kill me until the appointed time of my death, then I'd live irresponsibly until that moment. Not knowing increases the likelihood that I'll continue to live responsibly each and every day.

By virtue of knowing WHEN you will die you will instantly be less daunted by your death because now you can take steps (in most cases) to prevent it.

doesn't make a difference because we all know that we're going someday. It's going to happen when it happens.
