I am spornoring a young child in India through Compassion International. I do regret doing this sometimes, but always I love doing it. Is this something to regret? I have been doing it for over a year. I have received letters from the child telling me how thankful he is for me sponoring him. I am 25 years old & I love kids, that is why I sgtarted. They picked out this child for me. Is it wrong for to give up on this? Because I do love this child & want to keep on sponoring him until the age limit for to stop. I feel gui.t for wanting to stop. Should I continue sponoring him until age 18, that is like 9 or 8 years from now? I am paying $32 a month. I have written to him once.

You are doing a wonderful thing for that child. You will break his heart if you stop. What's $32 a month? A few extra trips to Starbucks? I think you will be rewarded ten-fold for sponsoring this young child. You are doing good work.

It is simply a choice you make. if sponsering the child is making your life hard because of the money then make the decision and feel ok that you helped as long as you could.

I think that most agencies like that are crooked and the money goes to other places then the child. Check into it and make sure it's legit.
