Basic Mendelian genetics. Mexico was invaded by Spaniards, many of whom had familial ties to the north, England, France, etc. These Spaniards raped many native Mexican women, some actually had the respect to marry natives, and some American cowboys since then have added to the gene pool. Therefore, there are recessive genes for blue eyes and blond hair in both of your parents. Ask your parents or grandparents if they know of any Caucasians in your family tree. I bet you'll be surprised.

I'm surprised that you never noticed that a lot of the Latino population, especially from Brazil and Columbia are blonde.
While the green eyes are a bit uncommon, one of my inlaws is a brunette with blue eyes.
Only a geneology trace will tell you where the genes came from.

My children are 1/2 Mexican and 1/2 white. My oldest has sandy blond hair and brown eyes, and very pale skin. My little ones (2) look completely Mexican, dark brown hair, dark skin, very dark eyes. It's called genetics.

This is called co-dominance. There's a 50% chance you'd end up with a mixed complexion, and 25% for darker or lighter.

It's all genetics. Your parents might have had hybrid genes of blond and green eyes that did not show in their anatomy but thanks to genetic recombination, and Mendel's law of segregation in Mendelian Genetics, those traits became apparent in the offspring. It's all by chance.

Could she take after your mom or dad, while you take after the other? My two brothers take after my mom and us two girls take after my dad. The two boys have the blonde hair, blue eyes, while us girls got the brown hair and brown eyes.
My daughter has blonde hair, and blue eyes (like grandma) with the facial features of me, and my son has the hazel eyes and deep brown hair like his father, although they both have the same parents.
So one of you might take after one of your parents or maybe one of your grandparents.

Just genetics. You had a european ancestor somewhere down the line. Isn't that where the term mestizos and mulattos came from?
