i plug the hard drive of mi ex pc on a external thing using a usb cord , but my documents where set as private on my original pc now i am unable to open those files can you help me to find out how to get all my information

You can get your file
1) try to connect your old pc hdd to other pc and get your old files
2) You can use suse linux 9.0 run on cd which shows you all files and then you can connect your external hdd and get copy all those files
3) try use file encryption file method for copying file or use dos method to copy your files

First plug it back into your other machine, and make the files shareable, then go plug it back in.
