I'm considering cremation...then I can have my ashes spread over my favorite place. I figure, you soul has alredy gone to where it is supposed to(hopefully heaven)- so, I want my ashes tossed into the valley below my favorite place(lookout point).
Also, saves big $$$. One last nice gesture for family and friends.

I want to be cremated. Neither is better for the dead person, since you're no longer there. But cremation is more comfortable for the people you leave behind. They just have to care for the cremation once. Otherwise, they'd have to keep paying for the cemetery lot, or for any other inconvenient stuff these people could come up with.

Cremation is best. And scatter the ashes. Do Not save the ashes in an Urn!
I don't want to be buried, even though my religion says to do it (Judaism). - I do Not want a physical "shrine" that people need to maintain, and relatives may feel the need to visit. And keeping an Urn of my ashes around is even worse! Dump my ashes in the Sea, or the sound (i.e. saltwater, not lake water). Why? Because I love the seashore and the beach.

Cremation is amazingly earth pleasant and eco-friendly. There are some places out west the position you'd be buried in a shrowd into the earth, no casket. i love that concept too. also, the US is a clean u . s . compared to Europe. Alot of places in Europe now ought to dig you up over a particular era of time because there is not any longer sufficient space to bury anybody. i anticipate which will finally ensue the following. i'd favor a very last resting position.

Cremated. Personally I think burial is disgusting. I would hate to think of my loved one decaying and full of bugs. The thought really upsets me. When my sisters' baby died she had him cremated. At first it shocked me. But, it was actually a loving thing, because she has his ashes in a beautiful urn, baby clothes, mementos and pictures of him in a large curio cabinet. She can see him everyday.

Cremation. Once I die, my body is just useless material. Why have it take up space, when it could be returned to the earth in an efficient manner?

I think cremation is better. But check out what your religion believes to help with your decision.
I think that donating your body to science in order to help other people is even better.

expense wise cremation is better. that is what i want my children to do to me when i die. just the thought of being put in the ground is very unappealing to me. my mother past away and she is buried... and it makes me sad to think she is under ground. i would of rather have her in my house.
