where do i go for training to do bikini waxes and pedicures?

I would like to have my own shop and do men and women waxings and maybe pedicures

You can either get your cosmetolgy license or you can just get your nail tech license. ~Bon

You can go to cosmetology school (try a local junior college - they are usually cheaper) If yo want to do more than just pedicures - hair cuts, color, mani, pedi, facials, waxes all that stff, you need an operaters license. EWach state has differant requirments, Texas requires 1,500 hours before you can take a test to get your license. Or, if you just want to do nails (hands and feet) you can get a nail tech certficate, Texas requires 600 hours for that. A lot of school don't teach bakini wax though, just facial and body (back, legs . . ) I guesse they just expect you to learn from someone else once you are out of school, and hope they know what they are doing.
