Let's see............. u trade away a hell of a future 20-5-5 player (hell, he could have been a great 3rd scoring option), for a good AGED defensive player(that does NOT score well) in Shane Battier. Not a good move if u ask me, because unless Battier becomes that 20-5-5 player he should have been a long time ago or Gay does not pan out to be the player he might be, then we all can say that Houston got f***ed in the a** in this deal. Especially since TMAC and YAO will never be able to play together, because everytime 1 of them is healthy, the other 1 is injured.

they are still gay. think about this: there has only been 6 different teams that have won NBA championships in the last 20 years. think about that!! that includes the Miami Heat this year!! what's in store? realistically? more of the same, shitty basketball, no defense, at least until the play-offs start and a lot of ghangi man.
mediocrity at best for the rockets, it is a watered down league with the biggest babies in all of sports, the rockets will have a hard time getting to the play-offs but even if they make it they will be bounced in the first round.

On board a Rocket plane.
1: Coach somethings wrong with the engine!

2: Well get Rudy up here he can fix it!

1: Whos Rudy?

2: The kid we drafted!

1: I thought you said trade him for a guy!

2: Are you )**^%($#@?
The plane then crashes in the Bermuda Triangle and is never seen again.

Houston is gay for trading Rudy Gay. He's a good player even though he wasn't that clutch for UCONN in the NCAA Tournament. I don't know why they would give up a guy with so much potential. They will be the same crappy team they were last year.

They aren't going to be a playoff team first of all. Don't forget they also traded Stromile Swift. That means Chuck Hayes is going to be the back up PF, and he is not a very good shooter and isn't a good free throw either. Shane Battier isn't the best player either. The Rockets are just dumb.

no longer for shane battier, gay has a lot extra nicely worth to the Rockets thn Shane Battier does. gay is a very athletic participant who might want to off spelled T-Mac now and again and the Rockets might want to of used an athetic decrease back as a lot as T-Mac. thy might want to of saved Rudy gay, undesirable bypass, ;(.
