I like this girl and until just recently I thought she liked me back. We live 30 min. from each other so it's not like I can just go over to her house. (It's not a hard drive, I just don't want to show up unexpected) We don't talk on the phone everyday, then when we do it's usually only for a few minutes. It's usually a good conversation. I've tried several times to see if she wanted to hand out. She's in summer school right now, so weekends are really the only chance we have to be together. Each time it's been a different excuse. But, all of the excuses have been real.
So I called her today to see if she wanted to hang out, and she didn't sound to happy to hear from me. As usual it was just a few minutes of talking. (To tell you the truth, I don't know how to take todays conversation) I know that she hangs out with her old boyfriend a lot. And I know that he still likes her. I just have a gut feeling that they are together again.
So, is it me over thinking it or what

Well, I'm sure that the situation is alot less complicated then it seems.To me, It seems She just wants to say friends with you, And you may be right bout her and her ex getting back together. Or that may be that You're upset that She's not hanging out with you or having a conversation longer than ten minutes. You guys need to set a time to talk(Act like you are going out for lunch, It causes alot less stress, And She won't be able to Back out quick enough) and tell her how you are feeling,why..etc. I don't think it would help the situation either if you bring up her ex.

from my point of view, and don't be upset, but unfortunately she may not like you the way you like her. i say this from experience. you put your all into asking her to chill and whatnot and yes they may be genuine excuses but they are still excuses. if she really liked you, there are ways to get out of a lot of things.
but then again i could be wrong, she could be shy... who knows,the only way you'll find out is if you ask. a little rejection makes you stronger....IF she rejects you *smiles*

it sounds like she is scared to say she doesnt like you the same way.....you really should just be real bold and ask her..."do you like me or not" and ask her about her x..if shes a nice person she will tell the truth but if she is mean she will keep stringing you along......because that is what shes doing....you know?....
