I suggest going to a Baby Names sites, Such as Babynames.com---Or go through family members, friends..etc, Ask their opinion too. A name should be gifted and taken for granted So strive for meaning. If you decide you do not like the name later on, Consult you child and discuss it and if the agree have it changed. Now, In this age, You can get your name changed easily.

~~~Naming your baby~~~
a little suggestion when choosing a name for your child....
1. look at the meaning of the name you are choosing... is this what you want your child to live up to? example: Brady... meaning: large-chested. / Trafford... meaning: ford in a valley / Mansey... meaning: plucked flower
in my opinion choosing your child's name knowing the meaning is very important. I wanted my child to have a name with great meaning to me, so i named my first daughter Dominique Amyrah Grace,... Meaning Belonging to the Lord, God has promised, Grace.
this brings me to my next point...
2. Be sure how the name sounds together that the child will not get teased for the name you choose.
Example: i worked for a microfilming company and saw many examples of things you do not want to do to your child by name... Kelly Green, Violet Bleu, Chrystal Shanda Lier, Ivanna Park.... get the idea???
3. Look at your child's initials... your child will have to initial forms as they get older... would you want to initial legal forms if your name was Adam Steven Smith, or Astrid Suzanne Stevenson?
Look at the Initials with the last name... example: Stacey Mells ... S. Mells (smells?) Irvin Peter Daily... I. P. Daily.... could i spell this out any clearer for you?
4. Look at how one name runs into another... Example... LAURIS Mells (Lauri Smells)
Remember: the name you give your child will be a life long gift....
Is there a way to make a unique name from combining your name and your partner's? If your first names don't combine well, try your middle names. OR I think it's really neat when a woman uses her maiden name as her baby's first name. (like Campbell for instance) Our friends combined his first name with her middle name for the daugher whom they named Kenlee... I thought that was cute!
I like Blaine (boy or girl).
or Skye
Try taking parts of both of your names to make a name. Like if you names were Joe and Linda you could get something like-
Jolin or Joda.
Or Mark and Sarah might get-
Marah. Just remember that it is cool to be unique but the child has to live with it. and other children can be very cruel when it comes to teasing.
I say stick with the classic names they never go out of style. I like Ella or Isabelle for a girl. I like Brandon or Jonathon for a boy. Not very original, I know.
