I'd ask her what she wanted to do and what she wanted me to do. I'd embrace her. I'd cry whether she was or not.

I would start with a very calm and loving conversation and give her a very long and heart felt hug. She couldn't possibly need anything more than that in such a moment. Together, I would help her decide what to do. Are you a 15 or 16 year old pregnant daughter? If so and you don't have a mom to go to, then email me and I'll help you.

Well I'd be pissed, but I would not yell at her. I would sit her down and let her know that I'll be there for her and that she has several options. Abortion, adoption, and raising the baby. My daughter and I would talk to the father of her child and his family in order to come up with a plan. Although she has made a terrible mistake, everyone makes mistakes and if my daughter tells me she's pregnant, i would recognize it as a cry for help and support.

That is really sad. I would help my daughter raise the baby. But that answer may not be the right answer for most people. The important thing is the baby. It needs to be with a good family with a mom and a dad that will love it dearly and take care of it. Therefore adoption is probably the best idea.

well first of all it depends on whether or not she and her mom would be able to work together and take care of the baby and if not i would bring up an abortion but if the family is completely capable of taking care of the baby then i believe the mom should be supportive because the girl is probably very scared and very alone in it and she really needs someone to keep her from going over the edge but no matter what happened the girls life is changed forever and her mom should completely be there for her and i think that her mom she voice her disappointment but not be completely scary because the girl is already scared out of her mind and she needs her mom at hat point

My sister did this when she was 15 and my mother nearly killed her. I personally would let my child know that I was very disappointed in her, then we'd be off to get her an abortion, after which she wouldn't leave the house again until she went to college.

Not much you can do now, but, be there and give Love and support. Talk real to her, she knew how this work, now she going to experience it first hand. Just care and not be Condemning, it happened, so harsh words not change anything. BUT, Love will surly be a blessing for all........... including the Baby.

I`d be disappointed because she did it so young, but in the end I`d support her and not condemn her which is what all mothers who love their daughters should do.Everybody makes mistakes.

I would support her but also impress on her that she needs to take responsibility for her actions. She did choose to have sex and was not raped, right? So she needs to learn what being an adult means; if she thinks she is mature enough to have sex, she should be mature enough to handle this. I hope she learned her lesson.
